**Position Overview:**
The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing company safety programs and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to foster a culture of safety throughout the organization.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Lead safety training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels.
- Investigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
- Coordinate with management to develop emergency response plans.
- Maintain accurate records of all safety-related activities, including training, incidents, and inspections.
- Advocate for continuous improvement in safety standards and practices.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Safety Coordinator or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
