Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs and procedures.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Support incident reporting, investigation, and follow-up to help prevent recurrence.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Coordinate safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness initiatives for team members.
• Maintain accurate records related to inspections, training, incidents, and safety documentation.
• Collaborate with supervisors and teams to promote safe work practices and address concerns.
• Monitor corrective action progress and support timely resolution of safety issues.
• Contribute to emergency preparedness planning, drills, and response readiness.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance workplace health and safety performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in workplace safety, compliance, environmental health and safety, or a related field.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, hazard recognition, and risk reduction practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions.
• Proficiency with documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant safety certifications or training are preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience delivering safety training or leading awareness sessions.
• Familiarity with incident management systems and safety tracking tools.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures and preparedness planning.
