| ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Supervise and coordinate the activities of production employees, including assigning tasks, providing training, and monitoring performance.
- Plan and organize people schedules against production schedules to ensure productivity while optimizing resources and minimizing waste.
- Work with HR to ensure labor needs for temporary workers.
- Manage leads to ensure department productivity.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and make adjustments as necessary to meet quality targets.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees.
- Notify maintenance when equipment requires maintenance or repair.
- Maintains appropriate levels of tools needed to ensure the effective operation of the El Paso production facility.
- Train employees to enhance their skills and capabilities and provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - 3 years + of experience supervising people and production processes and programs.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bi-lingual in English & Spanish is required.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers and external partners.
- Excellent communication and demonstrated willingness to learn.
- Ability to work at a high rate of productivity.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask.
